Regardless, the volume will be much lower than with any other source. I can connect, disconnect, reconnect, disconnects, etc and every time I will get different volumes on most of the devices. Problem persists whether I connect to Android Auto using wired or wireless connection.īluetooth volume sync has always been an annoyance to me with any BT device. Volume is fine if I am using SXM or regular FM radio. I have tried resetting the MyLink system to default, deleting and re-connecting my phone to the bluetooth system, "clear cache" and "clear data" for Android Auto on my phone, delete and reinstall android auto app. It's almost as if when I first start listening to music, the radio thinks it is giving GPS directions and adjust the volume to suit. But, if I set a GPS destination (either in Waze or Google Maps) and abort the destination while the app is reading the next direction, the Volume gets much louder. I can have the volume at full blast and it is not loud enough to overcome the wind coming in driving with the windows down.
I have noticed lately, I cannot say for sure when this started happening, that when I am playing music (spotify, YT Music, or Plex Amp are the only apps I use for music) on there, the volume is. I use Android Auto pretty much 100% of the time I am in my truck. Posting this to Android Auto Forums as well, but was wondering if anyone else is having this issue.
